Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Part-time Finance Officer for our office in Erbil, Iraq. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day to day transactions of our firm. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accountancy.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Preparing balance sheets
- Processing invoices
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process
- Providing customer service to clients
- Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finance in a professional setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and other ERPs
- Fluency in English language, Arabic and Kurdish are a plus
